Torsion of the uterine appendages in preschool-age girls is rare, and diagnosis is difficult due to the poorly defined clinic. This clinical review presents a case of a 3-year-old girl being treated at the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital (DRKB) in Saransk for a long diagnostic path, hampered not only by a non-specific clinic for torsion, but also by inflammation of the appendix.
